Just like building a town or a state, The Museum of Pell City is the handiwork of so many coming together with a single purpose – to create a lasting legacy for their own time and for the generations that follow. Walk through the history of Alabama, which is part of the state’s bicentennial exhibit, Making Alabama. Pell City is one of five communities in the state honored by Alabama Humanities Alliance’s awarding of this special exhibit celebrating 200 years of statehood. Alabama is not alone in its celebration. Just as the state treasures its storied past – its triumphs and its setbacks – Pell City tells of its own evolution in this exhibit and how it fits into the larger picture of history.
